when you feel
the world has forgotten you
let me hold you
let me comfort you

when you feel
like an outsider within
when shadows gather
and threaten to overtake you
i am here
you are not alone

when life seems to be passing you by
when you feel yourself
disappearing

let me breathe light into you
let me remind you
that you matter
that you have always mattered

you have my heart
my mind
my spirit and soul

a soul-to-soul connection
unbroken by time
untouched by distance

may you know this
now
and for all the days to come

i am here
i am with you
always
